This is a tribute to Philomena de Mello (née Fonseca), who was born in Bombay on September 25, 1933. She is much loved and will always be remembered.
She moved to East Africa in 1956 and married a year later, and finally emigrated to London in 1981 with her family. Through the medium of music she inspired young and old - teaching piano, singing and more to many.
She will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 64 years, Neville, their four sons Neil, Nigel, Cecil and Norbert, their wives Harsida, Mary and Liz, and two grandchildren Lianne and Ryan.
For a loving grandmother and wonderful teacher
